About Me.

I am the middle child of my parents: a former baker and a former pharmacist. My family and I are from the west side of Puerto Rico.  My Mom showed me the basics on baking, and now I bake for my students. My passion for teaching has been visible since I was a child. I would constantly teach my cousins what I was taught in school. Besides teaching, I also enjoy a lot going to the beach, hanging out with friends, and playing with my sister and my Golden Retriever, Simba.

Fun Facts:

  • My favorite color is orange.

  • Anything that has olives, I dislike

  • I used glasses from 8 months to my 20 years of age.

  • I have traveled to Europe, North and South America, and many islands from the Caribbean.

Education

2017-2023

University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla

Some of us call this college, CORA. Here I studied in the English Department to become and elementary English teacher. The experiences I have had here are amazing. It was a very bumpy and difficult ride, but possible.

2011-2017

MASIS

The private school I spent my teenage years, the high school that opened countless experiences and opportunities. At this school I completely fell in love with teaching, spent lots of time around children and started my short career as a tutor.

2007-2010

C.A.S.F.A.

This private school was my least favorite. Teachers were alright, but I am thankful for the experience. They taught me that no matter how difficult the job might be, as long as you do it by heart, everything will come and go easier.

2003-2007

A.B.S.

Private school in Aguadilla, where I was taught the amazing language of English and started to appreciate the teachers' work. Graduated from Kinder and passed grades even with my speech problems, my teachers believed in me and so did I.
